It is with great sadness that we share the news of the passing of Kate Veale on Sunday 16th November.

Kate was County President in 2014. she held many positions in Devon and actively organised and supported the Inter county team and of course the County Masters team.

A hugely accomplished Masters swimmer in her own right, Kate represented at World Championship level and was a proud lifelong member of Totnes Swimming Club.

We keep Kate’s family firmly in our hearts, sending our deepest sympathies to her husband, Simon, and her sons, Kalon and Levin.

Kate’s warmth, positivity and generous spirit will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Kate’s funeral will take place on Wednesday 10th December at 11am at Dartington Church, followed by a gathering at the Seven Stars in Totnes for those who wish to come together and remember her.
