Bursaries & Funding

Devon County Bursary

Devon County Swimming Association provides bursaries for Swim England Teaching and Coaching courses (only SE courses), at a rate of:

Level 1 – £50, Level 2 – £100.

Bursaries must be applied for to Devon County by the following process:

Identify your training course & book your place on the course,
Complete your bursary application form and send it to the Devon Bursary Secretary () with the course fee receipt,
On receipt of your course certificate, submit a copy to Devon Bursary Secretary at .

Regional Bursaries

The Swim England South West region will also provide bursaries for Swim England Teaching and Coaching courses (only SE courses).

Level 1 – £50; Level 2 -£100; Level 3 – £200 from the Region

There are criteria attached to this which are detailed on the application form which is available at this link.

Claims are limited to 3 per discipline per Club and will be processed in order of receipt.

The applications for regional bursaries must be submitted at the same time as the Devon County applications.

PLEASE NOTE: Copies of course fee receipts and copies of course certificates are required in order for the application to be processed.
