The tournament is evolving, and in an effort to widen opportunities to particpate I've made an adjustment to the age qualification with a rule allowing some use of a small number of over-age players, with certain provisos. I hope these are clear, let me know if they cause anybody a problem.

I've also pushed the tournament back a week or two in the year to allow people to get back into the swing of things following the summer break, hopefully this will help to remove some of the difficulties people experienced last year in sorting out player details.

Please feel freee to spread the invite around, I reckon we can probably accomodate up to 12 teams.

I'm going to pass this on to our local schools sports co-ordinator here in Torbay, in the hope that we can stir up some interest in our local primary schools, and it would be good if people could do similar in their own area.

Unfortunately, pool-hire costs have enforced a rise in the entry fee this year, up from £25 to £35, but I like to think that this still represents excellent value for a days polo.

Development Sessions 2007

The Devon County trials have now taken place. If you missed the session and have a very good excuse then you may still apply to be considered for the Devon teams in 2007 by contacting Jaggers (jaggers@exeterwaterpolo.co.uk / 07736301877) by the end of December 2006.

Please refer to your age group for further information regarding Devon training sessions and forthcoming competitons. Dates of competitions will not be known until the new year. Contact details for the coach of each age group may be found below and on each age group web page.
